
About Margarette Mills
Margarette Mills joined The Potter Law Firm in 2005. She works in the Ashland office where she currently serves as an Estate Planning Paralegal, Marketing Director, and Director of First Impressions. Margarette is responsible for the production of our estate planning and funding documents. She also works with the attorneys in the firm on programs and materials educating consumers and other professionals about important issues in the areas of estate planning and Medicaid planning. As Director of First Impressions, Margarette works hard to provide the highest quality service to our clients.
Experience
Prior to joining The Potter Law Firm, Margarette held administrative and financial management positions with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. During her 28 years career with the Bureau of Prisons, she received certifications in law enforcement techniques, firearms, law library supervision, government financial management, counseling, and interpersonal communications.
Education
Margarette received a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
Personal
Margarette volunteers her time working with the elderly. She also enjoys horseback riding, camping, and reading. She is a lifelong resident of Kentucky. She and her husband live on a small farm in Ashland. She has three children and six grandchildren.
